The practice closes for several training days during the year.
The practice will close for 25th/26th Dec and 1st/2nd January each year. If those dates fall on a weekend then the practice will close on the following Monday Tuesday.
The practice will also close for Good Friday.
Our phone lines are open from 0800-1800 Mon-Fri. Please note that the lines are very busy between 0800 and 0900 daily, so it may be better to phone later unless you need to make or cancel an appointment for that day. Please select Option 1 for Appointments.
Please note that between 08:00 and 08:30, our phone lines will take appointments, cancellations and Emergency calls only.
RESULTS & ENQUIRIES
Our Admin office is open between 9am and 5pm for general enquiries, results information and information about repeat medications please select Option 1. Please note results information is normally available after 2pm.
Please note that we cannot take prescription requests over the phone. Did you know that you can register online for prescriptions. Alternatively please visit your local pharmacy with your prescription request.
We provide an extended hours service most Tuesdays (see below).
Building Opening Times
The building is open during the following times:
Mon: 0800-1800 (appointments 0830-1620)
Tue: 0800-1900 (appointments 0830 - 18:15) (See note below)
Wed: 0800-1800 (appointments 0830-1620)
Thu: 0800-1800 (appointments 0830-1620)
Fri: 0800-1800 (appointments 0830-1620)
On Tuesdays, we conduct staff training between 12:30 and 14:30. The building will be closed but we will offer an EMERGENCY SERVICE, dealing only with cases where a delay beyond 14:30 may result in a deterioration in health that poses a significant risk of harm to the patient. What about evenings and weekends - when we are closed?
When the surgery is closed and you are too ill to wait until it re-opens, contact NHS 24 on 111.
In a life threatening emergency or after a serious accident/injury, you should call 999 and ask for an ambulance.
