Changes to Our Online Services.

Vision Healthcare, our systems provider, has notified us that they will implement a change to the Online Appointment Booking and Prescription Ordering service on 28th August 2018.

If you are an ‘Active’ user of the current system, there is little that you need to do; however, the first time that you log in after 28th August it may be worth allowing a little extra time to complete the migration process.  Unfortunately, there is nothing that you can do before that date to expedite the process.

Keeping your Information Private.

Please note that there are future plans to make results and other medical information available to you through this service; so if other members of your family share your email address to access Vision Online, it may be worth you considering registering with a different email address, otherwise there is scope for your medical details to be read by others.

If you wish to change your email address then you can do so before the migration in the ‘My Details’ Tab after logging into Vision Online services: https://myvisiononline.co.uk/vpp/login.jsp

Children age 12 to 18

In Scotland, the law deems children over the age of 12 to have the capacity to make their own decisions; that capacity extends to decisions about their medical care. Therefore, if you currently access the system for a child between the age of 12 and 18,  we will be writing to the child to advise them of that and to inform them that they can, if they so wish, operate and access their own account.  You may wish to discuss this with your child before they receive our communication, so we will delay sending the letter to them until 17th August 2018.

Telephone Appointments.

If you would like a telephone appointment then please call the practice on 01463712233.  We offer phone appointments at 08:30, 10:30, 13:30 and 15:25.  The time of the call may vary slightly depending on whether or not the GP is running early/late.
